Now, on with my full review of Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition! So we'll have to wait and see where things fall when the dust clears, but the inclusion of so much additional footage plus the early positive reaction not only from mainstream viewers but even among critics and bloggers who disliked the theatrical release could help push the Ultimate Edition and theatrical version combined toward the century mark in North American sales. I think that number should be doable, but then again, Avengers: Age of Ultron only took $74 million domestic in hard copy sales. Batman v Superman needs to hit in the neighborhood of $100 million domestic sales if it wants to avoid another round of negative media attention. Worldwide, the total is even higher, obviously. Man of Steel took more than $100 million in domestic Blu-ray/DVD sales, a figure that rises toward $200 million when we include Digital-HD and rentals.
